Your science is your business. We keep it that way.
The Short Version
Your qPCR data never leaves your browser. We can't see it, we don't store it, we don't want it. That's by design.
Data Processing
All qPCR analysis — file parsing, ΔΔCt computation, graph generation, and QC diagnostics — runs entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your uploaded spreadsheet files are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
What We Store
When you create an account, we store: your email address and authentication credentials, your subscription tier and billing information (managed by Stripe), your saved analysis templates (configuration settings only — not your data), and your usage counts (number of analyses performed). When you submit a format request or feedback, we store your email address, your message content, and any files you voluntarily upload for format support requests.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-respecting, open-source analytics tool, for product analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not share data with third parties. We do NOT use Google Analytics. We track aggregate usage patterns (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. Separately, to measure whether our advertising works, we use Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising conversion tracking. When you create an account, a privacy-protected (SHA-256-hashed) version of your email address may be shared with Google to attribute sign-ups to ads ("enhanced conversions") — the readable address is never transmitted. Advertising tools never receive your uploaded data files; those stay in your browser.
Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. Beyond the hashed-email conversion matching described above, we do not share or transfer your personal data to any other parties.
