Overview
VoilaPCR ("the Service") is a web-based qPCR data analysis platform operated by VoilaScience. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Account & Access
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Free accounts receive 5 lifetime analyses with full features. A Plus subscription ($99/year) provides unlimited access. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Your Data
All qPCR analysis runs entirely in your browser. Your spreadsheet files are never uploaded to our servers. We store only your account information, subscription status, and usage counts. You retain full ownership of your data and results at all times.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service beyond what is visible in the browser; (b) use automated scripts to access the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users; (c) resell or redistribute the Service without permission; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Subscriptions & Billing
Plus subscriptions are billed annually through Stripe. You can cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account page. Upon cancellation, you retain Plus access through the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@voilascience.com.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, VoilaPCR is a tool to assist your analysis — not a substitute for scientific judgment. You are responsible for validating results before publication. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoilaScience shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
